Engineering Apprentice
We have 3 different types of Engineering Apprenticeships available across our sites. Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer and Electrical Instrument and Controls Engineer so there is something for everyone! Our Engineering apprenticeships are an exciting, blended learning approach of in-college and on-the-job right at the heart of an enormous global manufacturing operation where you will get the chance to work on industry leading technology and, of course, help us shape the future!

Packaging Operator Apprentice
Our Packing Operator Apprenticeship is designed to give you a springboard for a long and exciting career in manufacturing. This two-year programme is an exciting blended learning approach of in-the-classroom and on-the-job. Every week you’ll find yourself in the workplace and completing college work. You’ll have in-depth training on the different machines and different bottling lines. You’ll learn the end-to-end manufacturing process including quality checks, process improvements, line stoppages, machine maintenance and fault-finding, among much else.

Spirit Supply plays a vital role in our supply chain. You will be directly involved in producing and preparing the spirit that goes into our most iconic brands. You’ll spend three enjoyable years as a respected member of this group, learning everything there is to know.

Whisky Maturation Operator Apprentice
Our two year Maturation Operator Apprenticeship programme is an exciting, blended learning approach of in-the-classroom and on-the-job training. Our Maturation Operator Apprenticeship is designed to give you a springboard for a long and exciting career in warehousing. Every week you’ll find yourself in the workplace and completing college work. You’ll have in-depth training on the different areas of maturation. This covers filling, warehousing, disgorging and cask management operations.

Inventory and Supply Apprentice
This 3 year Modern Apprenticeship provides a unique opportunity to develop a broad skill set within a exciting and supportive work environment, while working towards a structured SVQ certified qualification in Supply Chain over a three year period. You will learn all about Inventory Management (managing whisky stock records, 3rd party customer service and HMRC owner & site location compliance) and Quality (sample ordering, record management and HMRC compliance) Over the course of the apprenticeship, you will continue to develop their operational capabilities and achieve SVQ certification to level 3 or above.

Data Science Graduate Apprentice
Diageo Graduate Apprentices have the best of all worlds. Our hands-on, fast-learning programme is perfect for people who are curious and have a willingness to learn. During our Data Science Graduate Apprenticeship you will gain a BSc Hons Data Science coupled to industry experience throughout that will set you up for a career to be proud of.

Asset Care Apprenticeship
Diageo Australia’s apprenticeship program leads our talent management for next generation talent within the Asset Care & Reliability function. With apprenticeships available at both our Huntingwood and Bundaberg sites, our apprenticeship program includes the opportunity to be supported by industry experts as you learn either a Mechanical Fitter or Electrical trade. The program is either 3 or 4 years depending on location and is fully supported. You are able to work onsite 4 days per week and attend vocational training centres for theoretical training 1 day per week in line with the National Standard for Apprenticeships.

LAC Apprentice Program
The Apprentice Program in Colombia provides students that are finishing their technician career with the opportunity to develop different skills in a 6-12 month internship (time period is dependent on the school). This program can be paired with a variety of positions in functions such as Finance, Marketing, Corporate Relations and Sales.
